In a crucial role for the Jurong Region Line (JRL) noise barrier installation, we provided specialized Tekla BIM services to create precise, constructible models of the complex steel framing needed to mitigate train noise in densely populated areas. Our detailed 3D modeling and multi-disciplinary clash detection were vital in navigating the intricate geometries of the fully elevated viaducts, ensuring an efficient and error-free fabrication process for the noise barrier components. By leveraging Tekla Structures as a single source of truth and utilizing Trimble Connect for seamless project collaboration, we streamlined workflows for designers, fabricators, and contractors, ultimately enabling a smooth and safe on-site installation while minimizing disruption and ensuring the JRL meets its noise reduction goals.
